Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State, has presented the 2022 budget proposal of over one hundred and ninety billion Naira to the State House of Assembly.
The budget is lower than the previous one, with 8.5 percent.
It has 110bn for capital expenditure while 84bn for recurrent expenditure.
Receiving the budget, the Speaker of the house, Abubakar Suleiman, promised to ensure its timely passage before the end of this year.
The house has given two weeks its various committees to engage respective MDAs and report back to appropriation committee for inputs.
