The Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Thursday flagged off work for total overhaul of Numan General Hospital.
In his address, Governor Umaru Fintiri said the upgrade of the Numan General Hospital has become more compelling in view of its strategic location as the only Secondary Health facility in the entire Numan Federation.
He assured the people of Numan that, the current project which involves construction of Laboratory Complex, Paediatric Ward, Female Surgical Ward and the Theatre Complex will be pursued with the utmost vigour, so that they can enjoy improve Health services in no distant future.
The Commissioner of Health and Human Services, Professor Abdullahi Isa appreciates Governor Fintiri for according priority to health sector and urged the hospital community to of the contractor for quality delivery of the project.
