In an its efforts to eradicate malaria and other diseases A non-governmental organisation base in Bauchi, Alkali Care Foundation has sprayed insecticides to
some areas in Bauchi metropolis as part its humanitarian service to the people.
The founder of the Foundation, Aliyu Adamu Alkali who led the other members of the foundation for the exercise in some part of metropolitan areas said the gesture was done as part of it social responsibilities.
Abubakar Alkali noted that the foundation involved community services to alleviate the suffering being fa ce by the people especially the lesprivilledge one in health and other critical sectors.
According to him the areas that benefitted from the gesture include Bakaro, Bayan fada, Ganjuwa, Jaja and Railway all in Bauchi metropolis.
“The central objectives of the foundation is to render humanitarian service to the people such as health care, education and other critical sectors to complement the government efforts in that direction”.
Aliyu Adamu Alkali use the medium to call on government and other donor agencies to provide the foundation with working materials to enable the conduct of similar services to other communities.
In the their responses, the Ward Head of Tudun Yarima, Malam Suleiman Musa and that of Tuji Malam Aliyu Dauda Usman commended the foundation for the gesture, which according to them is both timely and important.
They equally called on relevant bodies to work with the foundation for positive results.
