University of Jos has suspended ongoing second semester examination 2019/2020 academic session.
The development is sequel to the unfortunate security breach that occurred in some part of Jos metropolis which has led to the impose of a 24-hour curfew in Jos north local government area of the state.
The management of the institution suspended the examination earlier schedule between Monday16th and Saturday 21st August till further notice.
This was contained in a sign statement by deputy registrar, information publication, Abdullahi Abdullahi noting that all students residing in various hostel are advice to remain withing their hostel and avoid unnecessary movement similarly, staff of the university enjoined to remain at home while curfew remain in effect.
While the institution in collaboration with security agencies, plateau state government Working round the clock to ensure that the lives and properties of members of the university community especially students are protected.
