Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB has charged parents and guardians to send their children to school following the reopening of public and private schools across the state.
The Permanent Secretary of the board Mal. Usman Aliyu Kawu gave the charge while monitoring schools resumption in Alkaleri and Kirfi Local Government areas of the State.
Our correspondent Jibrin Hussaini Kundum reports that about two thousand,two hundred and ninty six pupils and students from primary and junior secondary resumed academic activities today.
Usman Kawu called on students and teachers to always maintain social distancing in order to tackle the covid-19 pandemic.
The Permanent Secretary urged parents to provide faces masks and other preventive kits to their childrens in line with the COVID-19 protocols.
Usman Aliyu Kawu use the medium to commend Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad’s led administration for the renovation and construction of public schools across the state.
