The ancient town of Gwandu was agog on Saturday as the Senate President, Ahmad Lawal, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Chairman Progressives Governors’ Forum, Maimala Buni, Yobe State Governor, who is also the APC National Caretaker Committee and Extra Ordinary Convention Planing Committee, Chairman, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN, politicians,top government functionaries , traditional rulers, businessmen, friends and wellwishers, attended the wedding Fatiha of AbdulAziz Adamu Aliero, the son of Senator Muhammadu Adamu Aliero.
A dowry of One Hundred Thousand naira was paid by the groom to the bride.
The Senate President, Ahmad Lawal served as representative of the groom, (Wakil), Abdul’Aziz Adamu Aliero, who sought the hand of marriage of the bride while Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu served as the guardian ( Waliyyi) of the bride, Fatima Bashir Gwandu.
Similarly, in Aleiro town, the Governor and other personalities attended the wedding Fatiha of Muhammad Hambali and Fatima Abba Aleiro, the daughter of Alhaji Abba Aliero, a business tycoon.

Shiek Bala Lau, the national leader of Izala group, Shiek AbdulRahman Isah Jega and other Islamic clerics offered prayers at the wedding.
