Bauchi State House of Assembly has advocate the need for the state government to take proactive measures towards curtailing the spread of Malaria fever in the State.
The called was made following a motion of matters of public importance moved by Jamilu Dahiru, member representing Bauchi central constituency.
Jamilu Dahiru pointed out that in his constituency there was an outbreak of Malaria fever,hence the need for the State government to fumigate the area and also to make adequate provision of providing medicine in health facilities across the State.
He stressed that government should take the responsibilities of providing free medicine to the peoples.
While corroborating Speaker Bauchi State house of Assembly Abubakar Suleiman said the recent report of outbreak of Malaria fever in the state is quite alarming that resulted to stretching the capacity of Hospitals in the state.
