The Kaduna Young Journalists Association (KAYOJA) has organized a two day workshop on Digital Journalism, Digital Economy, Media Convergence and Role of Media in Tackling Insecurity In Northern Nigeria at Arewa House Kaduna.
The Chairman of (KAYOJA) Nuhu Basheer Masa disclosed that the event was meant to build the capacity of the young practicing Journalists, Social Media Users and students of journalism to the best practice of digital Journalism in the 21s century and to avoid creating more harm in the society.
He said “considered most of the social Media Users are not trained Journalists and have no skills of the profession, the association found it paramount to organize such programme that will enable the civil Journalists understand some basic principles guiding the profession.
In his remarks, the FRCN state house Correspondent, Bello Wakili advised the participants to avoid brown envelope and focus on upholding the ethics of the profession always.
