2023: Let us not repeat the previous mistake

During the 2015 and 2019 general elections, most people of Nigeria were blind because at that moment they need change by all means that was how the contestants all moved and win the election alongside President Muhammadu Buhari, what people expect was that buhari would be the only solution to Nigeria’s problem. At that time, wether you are good or bad people will elect you into power with the hope of doing good things to them.

In 2019 general elections, people began to realize that those people they elect in 2015 are those who have embezzled the public funds before, but still decamped to APC and win the election.

Years back, people were anticipating that, with the emergence of Buhari as President, things would be better and smooth, despite several corrupt leaders arrested, corruption is still eating the flesh of Nigeria whereby public office holders are channelling national treasures to themselves .

In 2015, when General Muhammadu Buhari, the President of Nigeria emerged as a President, things began to change back to it’s normal ways, while gradually the cabals realized that he was there to expose their past corrupt deeds and then they started leaving Nigeria for abroad. Some of them even connived with Buhari’s cook and poisoned him which forced him to fly to United Kingdom for treatments; after his returned, he lowered the fight against them which led to the rebirth of corruption in our land.

Similarly, corruption started growing again beyond the years back, in many areas like schools whereby if you did not give bribe, you would not get admission. As a graduate with good grades, if you refuse to pay some amounts you would not get work. Even in hospitals, we have nurses that collect money to let sick ones in order to consult doctors. Contractors used substandard materials when given contract despite huge money for buying necessary equipments given to them. Police officers that supposed to be friends of all are turning to demons by collecting bribe to let criminals go free, bail on papers is free but in police stations you must pay even if court says the victim is not guilty.

Meanwhile, as 2023 general election is approaching, people are now trying to imform Buhari about their intentions for contesting presidential position, not knowing that people are now back to their normal senses.

In 2023 general elections, Nigeria need a leader who is prepared, credible, competent, charismatic and committed in quality service delivery to the people.

A man to reposition, rebuild, restore and progress our image by addressing our numerous challenges in the areas of security, economy and infrastructure.

In 2023, Nigeria needs a man who is competent and has a proven record of results, all those who wanted to contest are the people who in one way or the other rule, either governor or vice president of the republic of Nigeria before.

Now that the election is fast approaching, most of them would be coming down to grassroots and start sharing some items to people so that they can vote for them in the fourth coming election. My wish is that, anyone who gives you money, food, clothes and all other items should collect and vote for his own choice during the election.

Any contestant who used his money to buy votes for him to win election what do you think will happen after he emerge as a winner? Of course he must get back all his expenses.

By this I want the people to make sure all the people who will come to them and seek their votes are of proven records of integrity.
