Adamawa: We’re working around the clock to improve people’s socioeconomic conditions – Fintiri

 

Despite the country’s instability, Adamawa Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said the current administration has been working around the clock to improve people’s socioeconomic life.

The Governor mentioned this at an audience with senior course forty-four of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, who have been in the state on a study visit since the fourteenth of this month.

Governor Umaru Fintiri reminded them that Boko Haram’s crimes, like as kidnapping, had not hindered the government from implementing real development programs that improve the lives of citizens.

He stated that the combined efforts of the state’s military and hunters have decreased insecurity to a single digit compared to what existed prior to the current administration’s arrival.

The Governor thanked the group for their enthusiasm in coming to Adamawa for the research visit and expressed his hope that the state would benefit from their experience, which he said came from a strategic institution in the country.

He urged the team Course 44 to offer the state government with the results of their study tour so that the people can have hope and Adamawa can thrive.

Earlier in his remarks, Brigadier General MT Abdullahi, the course leader, stated that his group is one of eight teams now on a research tour of some of the country’s states.

While giving a brief history of the college, the team leader, who is the Director Joint Forces Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, stated that it trains officers and paramilitary troops among others.

While giving an overview of their journey, Squadron leader P.C Ichiazu thanked Governor Umaru Fintiri for the warm reception afforded them in his vote of gratitude on behalf of the students of course forty-four.
