Association of Agricultural Graduates partners NUJ for development of Agric Sector

The Agricultural Graduate Association of Nigeria Bauchi State Chapter has seek for collaboration with Nigeria Union of Journalists Bauchi State in order to improve farming Activities in the State.
The Chairman of the Association Comrade Joseph Sanga who leds his Members on a Courtesy Visit to NUJ State Council said in order to amplifier their voices there is need for Media that is why they are at the NUJ Secretariat.
Joseph Sanga Said the association use to communicate to Farmers about Agricultural Scientific and technological breakthrough and the development of Agricultural sector from the major stakeholders to the final Consumers, which according these can’t be done with the media in order to achieve sets goals.
Sanga added that it is obvious that Oil can’t sustain us in the country as the result of that people are turning back in to Agriculture, “going back to Agriculture we need means of production that will be less cost effective and also it will be beneficial, productive and profitable”.
” it is to this note we want to partner with NUJ to amplifier our voices and making all the contribution on what we intend to bring to the state and also communicate to the farmers in the state to the public.
Responding the Bauchi State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Comrade Umar Sa’idu Said the State Council will support the association in publicizing they activities, which he described as a good development to have youth and women engaging in farming Activities.
Umar Sa’idu commended the association for been an important tool not only for creating employment among the youth and women in the country but allowing millions of youths to engage in the farming Activities, because government alone can’t accommodate all the graduates in the country.
He also commended the Federal Government for introducing series of package in the Agricultural sector through the Central Bank of Nigeria, “i hope that by doing this program they will engage people like at least it would help to reduce number of unemployed youth in the country and also boost our Production”.
“When ever you are conducting your activities you should ensure transparency and accountable is very important, become that is the only aspect that NGOs, Government and other very important stakeholders that will come and partner with you by seeing what you are doing there is transparency and accountable definitely they would support you and you will succeed”.
