Bauchi hosts the 36th National Qur’anic Competition

Bauchi State Government has commended the effort of the management of Usman Dan’Fodio University, Sokoto for choosing Bauchi State to hosted 36th, 2022 National Qur’anic Recitation Competition.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad of the state made this known during opening ceremony of this year National Qur’anic Recitation Competition, held at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium Bauchi.

Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad who was represented by his Deputy Senator Baba Tela, said reading, writing, reciting and memorizing the holy Qur’an is the only way that encourage our younger ones to live in peace and unity.

Governor Bala Muhammad of the state express gratitude to the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee,Khadi Abdullahi Yakubu Marafa and his members for doing the wonderful jobs.

In his speech the sultan of Sokoto,Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, commended the effort of Bauchi State Governor in collaboration with Dan’Fodio University, Sokoto for hosting the 2022 National Qur’anic Recitation Competition.

Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III who was represented by Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Umar Garbai El-kanami.

Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar III applied traditional rulers, stakeholders, religious leaders, Security Agencies as well as Government at all levels to organize special prayer in order to overcome the security challenges.
