Heavy Rainfall destroys properties in Bauchi community

Communities of Rambaya village of Miri ward in Bauchi local government area of the state were disconnected with rest of people as a result of damage of the only access road Linking them with other communities .

The village have about 10 kilometers to the state capital through Wunti Dada .

According to the Ward Head of Rambayan ,Malam Abubakar Sadiq Isah said last week a car was run away as result of heavy rainfall.

Mal. Abubakar Sadiq Isah called on both local and state governments with immediate effect to come to their aid as they were left behind in terms of social amenities especially access road that link them with other communities.

noted that in this raining season people of the area are facing difficulties.

Malam Shehu Ibini, resident of the area, also called on the concerns authorities and wealthy individuals
to assist them toward constructing the only access road and other basic needs to have a sense of belongings.

Speaking with Martaba FM online Radio, a casualty who lost his car at the Rambaya road, Malam Abdulra’uf Lafiyari Called on state Governor Bala Mohammed and other wealthy individuals to assist him as the car is the only source of income to him.

He therefore urged relevant bodies to provide them with social amenities to alleviate their suffering.

Martaba FM Online corespondents report that over five hundred farmers are using the road on daily basis.
