Governor Bala Mohamed of Bauchi State has welcomed leaders of about twenty thousand supporters who decamped from various political parties to the ruling People’s Democratic Party ( PDP )in Bauchi State.
Lawal Muazu, Special Adviser to the Governor on New Media revealed in a statement made available to newsmen in Bauchi.
Governor Bala who welcomed the decampees at the commencement of campaign rally for the PDP candidates in the forthcoming Local Government Election in the state held at Alkaleri Local Government Area, expressed gratitude to the decampees for believing of his leadership style and assured them of equal opportunity.
He described them as real leaders and grassroots politicians who will add value to the PDP in Bauchi and democracy in the state.
Leader of decampees, Hashimu Yakubu kumbala said they decided to join the PDP because of the performance of Governor Bala within shortage period of time.
Hashimu Yakubu kumbala pledged their loyalty and total support to both the party and the governor for the progress and development Bauchi state.
