Eid-el-Fitr: Governor Bala hosts Bauchi Emir and Traditional rulers on multifaceted Durbar

 

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed said his administration will continue to provide citizens with dividends of democracy to improve their living standard.

Mohammed disclosed this today when he hosted His Royal Highness, Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu and members of the Bauchi Emirate Council on this year’s multifaceted Sallah durbar at Government House Bauchi.

According to Governor Mohammed traditional rulers play a vital role in strengthening security and promoting peace and unity of Bauchi State and Nigeria as whole adding that his administration will continue to support and respect their status.

He attributed successes his administration has recorded to the confidence, support and contributions by the traditional rulers and citizens of Bauchi State adding that he will ensure the State attain higher levels in all sector.

Bala Mohammed used the medium to call on Nigerians to use the festive period to share love and promote peace and assist less privileged and people with no social advantage which according to him would is a symbol of patriotism.

Governor Bala told the gathering that all adequate enlightenment and arrangements to support famers with inputs have been completed by his administration hence the need to reciprocate the gesture by making good use of the produces.

On his part, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu commended Governor Bala for his welfare and support to traditional rulers in addition to carrying them along in all channels of leadership.

While applauding the Governor for his tremendous achievements in construction and renovation of palaces, health, education and road, the Emir added the Bauchi Emirate will continue to support his administration.

In attendance were the Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Senator Baba Tela, Honorable Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Abubakar Y. Suleiman among other top dignitaries.
