Kaduna CJ commended Emir of Zazzau for his significant contributions towards resolving dispute through ADR

The Chief Judge of Kaduna State, Justice Mohammed Tukur Mu’azu Aliyu, has commended the Zazzau Emirate, under the leadership of His Highness Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, for its significant contributions to resolving disputes through its Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) efforts.

Justice Mu’azu made these remarks on Tuesday when he paid a courtesy visit to the Emir at his palace. The CJ was accompanied by some High Court Judges and members of the State Special Committee on ADR. He specifically highlighted the Emirate’s effective handling of issues referred to it by conventional courts, which has in essence significantly reduced the volume of litigation before the courts.

He expressed the Committee’s intention to promote good level of collaboration with the Emirate by providing some training to District Heads in ADR processes to achieve more comprehensive results.

In his response, the Emir expressed gratitude to the Chief Judge and the Committee members for the visit and assured them of the Emirate’s readiness to partner with the Committee in all its initiatives.

In attendance were most of the Councillors, the Thirty-One (31) District Heads and some Management Staff of the Emirate.
