The Epileptic Transmission of ATAP fm and the need for full transmission

Campus radio is a type of radio station that is run by the students of a college, university or other educational institution which is ideally established to impact practical knowledge to the students.

Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi, is blessed with a well equipped campus radio that transmits on Frequency Modulation 99.5.

The inception of the radio changed the minds of both Lecturers and students specifically those in Mass communication indigenes Department.

ATAP fm has achieved tremendously in terms of news and programming, considering the caliber of lecturers and most dedicated students who are ready to contribute towards the success of the transmission.

In the recent months, ATAP radio which is the first compus Radio not only in Bauchi State but in the North east of the country faced alot of challenges leading to low and regular interrupted transmission.

Students of the department, the lecturers and the entire polytechnic Community were deeply and seriously concerned about the situation.

We use the pen opportunity to call the attention of State government, the Polytechnic Management and relevant bodies as matter of urgency to take a appropriate actions by identifying the problems, and consider all mechanisms to restore the station back to life.

ATAP fm serve as the channel of communication and share the vital information that have direct bearing to the entire students of the institution especially during registration and matriculation ceremony. The students gets relevant information on how to follow the process of registration and what supose to do and what should tneh shy away from for a successful academic journey .

In the final words, we hoped our valuable voices and deeply concerns will be fully considered and put all necessary measures with a view to making the campus Radio working and fully transmission approach.

Let our powerful ATAP Radio work with full transmission to continue satisfying the audiences.
